Solstice Sunrise

Jodie had a great idea..."let's take a boat out to see the sunrise" she said. Turned out we needed to launch all five of our lovely gigs as we had so many keen early risers. Or maybe we just have a lot of pagans in Brixham Gig Club. As we rowed towards the horizon, the 3:30am start was well rewarded with a magnificent sunrise; we all raised our blades to salute the sun (a ceremony we made up on the spot), then headed back to the Club Shed for bacon butties and tea. A brilliant way to start the longest day.
