Welfare Officer Required
CPGA guidelines on Safeguarding and Welfare require us to have a dedicated Welfare Officer to act as the go-to person for anyone (adults or juniors) to air any concerns or issues relating to the wellbeing of our club members. This could range from bullying and harassment to inappropriate behaviour on the part of any of our members.
We all know the importance of providing a safe and welcoming environment for our rowers, but if any concerns should arise it is useful to have a named person who can be approached discretely and confidentially, who will either deal with the issue informally or escalate to the club captain.
If you feel you would like to take on this role, please contact any committee member or Club Captain Amy
